What it's used for

Novaday is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children aged 6 years and older. It is also prescribed for chronic stable angina (chest pain caused by narrowed heart arteries), vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal's angina), and coronary artery disease in patients without heart failure or severely reduced heart pumping function.

How it's taken

Novaday is taken by mouth, typically once a day. Your doctor will decide the right dose for you based on your condition, age, and other factors. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop or change your dose without speaking to a healthcare professional.

Common side effects

Common side effects include swelling of the ankles or feet (edema), dizziness, flushing, and palpitations. These may be more noticeable at higher doses. Fatigue and nausea have also been reported.
