Lam Ibuprofen 100 mg/5 mL Suspension

What it is

Lam Ibuprofen is a brand of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used as a pain reliever and fever reducer. It comes as a 100 mg/5 mL oral suspension.

What it's used for

This medicine is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains caused by headache, toothache, backache, menstrual cramps, common cold, muscular aches, and minor pain of arthritis. It also temporarily reduces fever.

How it's taken

Adults and children 12 years and over should take the smallest effective dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. For children under 12 years, ask a doctor. Since this product is a suspension, use an accurate measuring device and follow the dose instructions on the label.

Common side effects

Serious side effects may include allergic reactions (rash, hives, facial swelling, wheezing) and stomach bleeding. If you experience any of these, stop use and seek medical help immediately.

Important cautions

Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to aspirin.
