What it is

What it's used for

It is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains due to headache, toothache, backache, menstrual cramps, the common cold, muscular aches, and minor pain of arthritis. It also temporarily reduces fever.

How it's taken

Chemofen is a suspension (100 mg/5 mL). The smallest effective dose should be used. Follow the directions on the label or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not take more than directed. For children under 12 years, ask a doctor before use.

Common side effects

Common side effects may include stomach upset, heartburn, nausea, and dizziness. Ibuprofen can also cause an allergic reaction (rash, facial swelling, wheezing, hives, blisters) or stomach bleeding. Stop use and seek medical help if any allergic reaction occurs.
