What it is

Ibulife is a brand of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works as a pain reliever and fever reducer.

What it's used for

Ibulife (ibuprofen) is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains such as headache, toothache, backache, menstrual cramps, pain from the common cold, muscular aches, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.

How it's taken

Ibulife tablets are taken by mouth. Adults and children 12 years and older typically take one 400 mg tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. If one tablet does not provide relief, two tablets may be taken. Do not exceed 6 tablets (2400 mg) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. For children under 12 years, consult a doctor before use.

Common side effects

Common side effects of ibuprofen include stomach upset, heartburn, nausea, and dizziness. However, more serious side effects include allergic reactions (rash, facial swelling, asthma, hives) and stomach bleeding. If you experience symptoms of an allergic reaction or signs of stomach bleeding (such as bloody or black stools), stop use and seek medical help immediately.

Important cautions

Do not take Ibulife if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or any other NSAID. The chance of stomach bleeding is higher if you take more than directed or use it for longer than instructed.
