What it's used for

Izfenac is indicated for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps), relief of mild to moderate pain, and relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

How it's taken

Izfenac is taken by mouth as a 50 mg tablet. The dose and frequency should be adjusted to suit individual patient needs, and the lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration. For pain or primary dysmenorrhea, the typical recommended dosage is 50 mg three times a day. Always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
