What it's used for

Aceca is indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain, treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods), and relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

How it's taken

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration. For pain or dysmenorrhea, the typical starting dose is 50 mg three times a day. Common side effects

Possible side effects include an increased risk of serious cardiovascular events (such as heart attack and stroke), gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration and perforation, liver toxicity, high blood pressure, heart failure and edema, kidney problems, allergic reactions, severe skin reactions, and blood disorders.
