The medicine is taken as needed before sexual activity or once daily depending on the condition being treated. It should not be taken more than once per day. Do not take Tadaphen if you are using any form of organic nitrate (often given for chest pain) or guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat. Use with alpha-blockers, blood pressure medicines, or more than 5 units of alcohol may cause low blood pressure (hypotension).
