Signature Veekend Tadalafil is a brand of tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body. This product contains 20 mg of tadalafil per tablet.

What it's used for

Signature Veekend is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), an enlarged prostate gland. It may also be used together with finasteride to start BPH treatment for up to 26 weeks. Its use is only for adult men under a doctor's care.

How it's taken

This medicine comes as a 20 mg tablet. The tablet should not be split – the entire dose must be taken as prescribed. For ED taken as needed, the typical starting dose is 10 mg, but it can be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg based on how well it works and any side effects. It should not be taken more than once a day. For once-daily use, lower strengths (2.5 mg or 5 mg) are usually prescribed. Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly.

Common side effects

The most common side effects (affecting at least 2% of people) include headache, indigestion (dyspepsia), back pain, muscle aches (myalgia), stuffy nose, facial flushing, and pain in the arms or legs. If you experience any side effects, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not take Signature Veekend if you use any form of organic nitrate (e.g., nitroglycerin) for chest pain – this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Before using, your doctor should evaluate your health, especially your heart, because sexual activity may not be advisable in some heart conditions. Use with alpha-blockers, blood pressure medicines, or large amounts of alcohol (5 or more drinks) may lead to low blood pressure.
