Jubigra is a brand of sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor that helps increase blood flow to the penis to treat erectile dysfunction.

Jubigra is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.

How it's taken

Typically, the recommended dose is 50 mg taken as needed about one hour before sexual activity. It can be taken between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sex. Based on how well it works and how you tolerate it, your doctor may adjust your dose up to a maximum of 100 mg per day, or down to 25 mg. Do not take more than once per day. Always follow your doctor or pharmacist’s instructions.

Common side effects

Possible side effects include cardiovascular effects, prolonged erection (priapism), vision changes, hearing loss, and low blood pressure when used with certain medicines such as nitrates or alpha-blockers. Seek medical help if you experience any of these.

Important cautions

Do not take Jubigra if you use nitrates (organic nitrates or nitrites) in any form, or if you take guanylate cyclase stimulators like riociguat. Also avoid it if you are allergic to sildenafil or any tablet ingredient. Do not use if sexual activity is not safe for your heart. Stop and get emergency care if an erection lasts more than 4 hours. Stop and see a doctor if you suddenly lose vision in one or both eyes. Use with caution if you take alpha-blockers or medicines for high blood pressure.
