Important cautions
Do not use Eliomal if you are allergic to artemether, lumefantrine, or any of its ingredients. Avoid using it with strong CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, St. John's wort) as they may reduce its effectiveness. Use with caution in people who have a history of QT prolongation, low potassium or magnesium levels, or are taking other medicines that prolong the QT interval. Do not take halofantrine within one month of Eliomal. Speak to your pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are taking.
