Dopatab tablet is used alone or with other medications for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Reducing elevated blood pressure is effective in averting the occurrence of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney issues.

Dopatab Tablet Dosage 

The usual starting dosage of Dopatab (methyldopa) tablets is 250 mg two to three times a day in the first 48 hours 

How to use Dopatab Tablet 

• Take Dopatab tablet by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually 2 to 4 times daily.  
• Start Dopatab tablet or any new dose increase in the evening to decrease the risk of side effects. 
• Also, if the doses of the Dopatab tablet are not equal, take the larger dose at bedtime.
