Do not use Binocrit if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of pure red cell aplasia after erythropoietin treatment, or serious allergic reactions to the medicine. Using this medicine to target a hemoglobin level above 11 g/dL may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events and has not been shown to provide additional benefit.
