Avoid using with strong CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, St. John's wort) as they may reduce effectiveness. Tell your doctor if you have heart problems (QT prolongation), low potassium or magnesium, or are taking other medicines that affect heart rhythm. Do not take halofantrine within one month of this medicine. This product is not for severe malaria.
