Aprovasc 150/5 Tablets (Amlodipine 5 mg + Irbesartan 150 mg) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits
Aprovasc Tablets contain a combination of amlodipine and irbesartan, used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients requiring combination therapy.
This medicine is commonly used for:
Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
Patients not adequately controlled on single-agent therapy
Reduction of cardiovascular risk associated with hypertension

It works by combining two mechanisms: amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes blood vessels, while irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), prevents blood vessel constriction, resulting in lowered blood pressure.
