What is Camosunate Adult 14 years?
Camosunate adult 14 years is an antimalarial medication indicated in the treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria and multi-drug resistant malaria caused by plasmodium falciparum. The active ingredient of camosunate are Amodiaquine and artesunate.
Is Amodiaquine the same as chloroquin?
Amodiaquine is used as an alternative to chloroquine especially in areas with chloroquine-resistant malaria. Generally, amodiaquine has been shown to be more effective than chloroquine in the treatment of plasmodium falciparum-caused malaria.
